Does it work without Lightroom? +
Yes — it's a standalone Windows app. It writes IPTC metadata into your files, so your keywords, title and caption appear in Capture One, Photo Mechanic, Bridge, ON1, digiKam and any other IPTC-aware program.
What file formats are supported? +
JPG, PNG, TIFF and most RAW formats (NEF, CR2, CR3, ARW, RAF, RW2, DNG and more). Metadata follows the IPTC standard.
Are my original photos uploaded? +
No. Originals stay on your computer. Only a small resized preview is sent to generate the metadata, and your images are never stored or used for AI training.
Which Windows versions are supported? +
Windows 10 and Windows 11. The app auto-updates, so you always have the latest version.
Is there a Mac version? +
The desktop app is Windows-only for now. On Mac you can use the MetaMagic Lightroom Classic plugin or the browser-based web app today.
