What's New — MetaMagic AI Classification & Collections
  • Structured visual AI metadata: MetaMagic now stores a separate visual classification layer alongside the normal Lightroom title, caption and keywords.
  • MetaMagic AI metadata panel: inspect Labels, Landmarks, Locations, Logos, visible face count / broad expressions, meaningful visible Text, Safety and Dominant Colors without mixing them into the normal Keywording panel.
  • Confidence information: Labels, Landmarks and Logos can include confidence scores, with independent threshold controls in the Control Center.
  • Automatic Lightroom Collections: enable AI Collections and MetaMagic automatically creates one Lightroom root Collection named MetaMagic, then organizes classified photos under the enabled category groups.
  • All Classified: processed photos can be grouped together while category Collections provide more specific browsing by visual classification.
  • A–Z subgroups: optionally split large Labels, Landmarks and Logos groups alphabetically for easier browsing.
  • Safe rebuilding: optionally clean only previous MetaMagic AI assignments before rebuilding. Normal IPTC keywords and personal Collections are preserved.
  • Rebuild without AI credits: change Collection settings and rebuild from saved structured data without sending the photo to Gemini again.
  • Optional OCR / GPS actions: OCR text can be copied to a standard Lightroom field, and reliable landmark coordinates can optionally fill or replace GPS according to the selected mode.
  • Same generation workflow: classification is returned alongside the normal metadata analysis, so there is no separate classification pass just to build the Collections.

  • Batch Review Preview: a new Lightroom Classic workflow for reviewing and preparing metadata across large photo selections from one browser-based workspace.
  • Agency profiles: choose from 13 stock-agency profiles or use custom limits for the platform you are preparing your photographs for.
  • Flexible editing: edit title, caption and keywords photo by photo, or apply changes to multiple selected photographs at once.
  • Keyword tools: trim keywords manually or use optional AI-assisted keyword refinement when you want help reducing a keyword list.
  • Lightroom organization: apply color labels and create or update Collections to keep photographs organized by review status directly in Lightroom.
  • Agency CSV preparation: prepare CSV metadata for supported stock platforms, including agency-specific fields where available.

Fixes
  • GPS location now works correctly in rural and remote areas. Previously, photos taken outside city boundaries (parks, nature reserves, countryside) returned "Unknown location". The plugin now falls back to county, municipality, suburb or locality when no city is found.
Improvements
  • More precise and specific keywords. The AI now always includes scientific Latin names for animals, plants and fungi, common names in multiple languages, biological family, conservation status, and ecological traits. Landmarks, vehicles and rare objects are also identified with greater accuracy.

Fixes
  • Keyword alerts no longer interrupt batch processing. Previously, a blocking dialog appeared for each photo with keyword conflicts, requiring a manual click to continue. The batch now runs uninterrupted from start to finish — any skipped keywords are written to the log file instead.
